We all know that Eating Disorders can kill. This is no new piece of information. Yet, often times we say: "It will never happen to me." "I'm different." "I'm fine." We choose to believe in the fantasy that everything will be ok, if we can just hit that certain weight. This is a LIE. I know, because once again, I have felt the reality first hand. I have felt the pain involved in the senseless death of a friend, taken from this world by this very lie.

If left untreated and unchallenged, eating disorders WILL kill you. It doesn't matter how strong you think you are, nor how hard you try to convince yourself otherwise, you can fall victim just like anyone else.

I can not bring back the life of my friend, but I refuse to let her death be in vain. PLEASE, read the information on this site carefully, and when you are done, reach OUT for help. For, there is no greater tragedy than a life lost too soon.

Philippine, wherever you are, my heart is with you always. I promise you, I will never give up fighting for myself and for everyone else caught in this battle.
