Welcome to the "UNBINDING THE BODY BETRAYED" WebRing Homepage. This Webring has been created to unite those sites that promote Education, Awareness, and Self-Growth in recovery from Eating Disorders and Related Issues. This includes, but is not limited to, sites on Eating Disorders, Sexual Abuse, Rape, PTSD, Incest, Self-Inflicted Violence, Domestic Violence, Recovery, and Mental Health Issues.

YOUR SITE MUST HAVE SOME RELEVANCE TO EATING DISORDERS IN ORDER TO BE INCLUDED IN THE RING.

THE REASON BEHIND THE RING:

Today, there are thousands of Web Rings available for linking World Wide Web sites to one another. Yet, out of all the rings BIBRI has visited, no one ring, has joined together those sites whose voices are focused on recovery from eating disorders and the issues that those disorders mask. Up to now, the only way to find those sites has been to visit a search engine, key in the words "EATING DISORDERS", or some varied form thereof, and view the list that is found. While this is an accurate search, it is limited. Only those sites who are marked with that particular search engine are listed. Those who are listed under a different engine, would require yet another search.

The hope behind the "UNBINDING THE BODY BETRAYED" WebRing, is that Education and Awareness can become a unified front on the World Wide Web. By Joining sites to the WebRing, it will become easier for those searching the web to find exactly the information they are seeking.

BIBRI believes that recovery means using our Voices, not our bodies, to promote change and understanding. This WebRing is one more way to do just that. Please join us in creating a chorus of voices loud enough and strong enough, to encircle the World Wide Web, in the hopes that just one life might be swayed from the darkness of these disorders, and into the light of recovery.

Rules For Membership:

Your site must:

• be related in some way to the above mentioned criteria
• have some original content
• be easily understood by the general public
• NOT contain offensive language, pornography, or violent material of ANY kind
• include the required HTML code and display the ring graphics with all its links on the approved site
• place the graphic files into the SITE'S directory on the owner's own server. This is a MUST. Linking graphics to the BIBRI server will only slow down the loading time and make it more difficult for those seeking information and support to obtain help.

All sites are subject to approval by the "UNBINDING THE BODY BETRAYED" Webmaster, who reserves the right to refuse or remove a site for any reason

A site can be removed from the ring if:

• it breaks the ring and doesn't respond to two notices
• it doesn't display the required HTML code on the accepted page
• it adds material, after its initial acceptance, that is found to be in violation of the rules above
• it moves without advising the UNBINDING THE BODY BETRAYED webmaster of its new address

How To Join Us:

If your site meets the above criteria and you agree to the rules, you may submit your site for acceptance. Simply follow the step-by-step instructions listed below and you will be placed into the web ring queue. Once you have followed all the steps, your site will be reviewed and you will be notified via e-mail of your acceptance.

Step-By-Step Instructions

1. Fill out the following form with your site information. This will place your site in the queue. It will also assign your site an ID number. You will receive a customized HTML fragment which you should copy and insert into your page. Once that is done, return to this page.

   Name:
   E-mail:
   Password:	Please choose a password. (Don't forget it!!)
   Keywords:	Enter up to 20 keywords to describe your site.
   Description:	Enter a short description of your site.

2. Save the two graphic files below to your own server space in the same directory as your ring-approved page. To do this, place the cursor over the image you want and hit the RIGHT mouse button. Choose "save as" from the mini menu that appears. Save the left graphic file as "wrlogo1.jpg" and the right graphic file as "wrlogo2.jpg".
3. If you have not done so already, past the customized HTML fragment you received into your web page.
4. E-Mail me your request for addition to the ring. In your message, include:
   • your site ID number
   • Your site's URL
   • Your site's Title
   • Your e-mail address
   • Name of the contact person
5. I will check out your site and add it to the ring. As soon as your site is added, you will receive an e-mail notifying you of your addtion.

In case you have trouble receiving the e-mailed HTML fragment, I have listed it below. When using this fragment, you MUST take the following steps BEFORE inserting it into your page:

1. Replace YOUR E-MAIL with your actual e-mail address.
2. replace YOUR SITE'S ID with the actual title of your site.
3. Replace all instances of YOUR ID with your actual site ID number.
